You’re allowed a 4-inch strip (also called an eyebrow or visor strip) of non-reflective tint at the top of the windshield.

Front Side Windows:
Must allow 70% of light to pass through. This keeps them legal while still blocking heat and UV.

Rear Windows (Back Sides + Rear Windshield):
Any shade is legal — you can go as dark as you want.

What does % mean?
The percentage refers to how much visible light can pass through the film.
Example:

• 70% = very light, mostly transparent
